Golden Haired Immortals

A poem about my two favourite blonde haired heroes with the ability of rapid cell regeneration. It tells the past of Adam Monroe (Tekezo Kensei) and the future of Claire Bennett. All purely speculative.

Clang Clang Clang

Blades exchange blows

The golden haired fighter smiles as steel through his heart, goes through

Kensie swings wide

Tekeo swings true

Severed samurai heads fall to the earth

Bang Bang Bang

Guns exchange bullets

The golden haired fighter frowns as steel through her body, goes through

Bennett shoots back

Claire shoots straight

Bleeding officers body fall to the earth

/

The last samurai fell, under Tekoe Kensie

The temple stood before him, its protectors no longer did

The treasure hunter strode forward

And found waiting gold

/

The last officer fell, under Claire Bennett

The prison stood before her, its enforcers no longer did

The freedom fighter strode forward

And found waiting prisoners

/

Heroes and villains, shall live and die

But they will leave a legacy

Golden haired immortals, shall live and survive

But will leave loved ones
