Level 3 Pairing: Ron/Padma

Padma Patil was still surprised that she was the girlfriend of one Ron Weasley. She had always thought that Ron would end up with Hermione but that wasn't the case which greatly surprised her. Then again maybe it shouldn't have surprised her seeing as she knew how smart Hermione was and that Ron wouldn't encourage her to work like she would want too. That didn't really bother her for the fact that while she wanted to work she wasn't willing to push away the chance of a relationship with the boy she has had feelings for since her fifth year at Hogwarts.
Speaking of the boy well man now that held her heart she smiled at him as he walked into their apartment. "Hello, love."
Ron smiled softly at his girlfriend as he walked over to her and kissed her on the head. "Hello, love. How have you been today? Was work busy?"
Padma chuckled and shook her head. "Work was just fine. I really am learning a lot from Madam Malkin. We even had some downtime today so we went over some of the designs I drew up over the last couple of weeks. It really looks like she is going to use them. As for how I am doing today the answer would be great. I still can't believe that I'm pregnant."
Ron chuckled and shook his head. "We will need to tell our family soon, Padma. I was going to wait to ask you but I just can't wait any longer. Padma, I love you like I never thought it was possible to love a person. You and I both know that I'm not that good with words but I'm going to try anyways. You are the reason that I breathe easy. You make my world all the more brighter just by being in my life. I don't want you to think that I'm doing this because you're pregnant because that is not the reason at all. I was planning on asking you soon anyways. Padma, will you marry me?"
Padma looked at Ron with tears in her eyes even as she smiled and nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, Ron. Of course I will marry you. I love you, Ronald Weasley."
Ron grinned and pulled Padma into him as he bent his head and captured her lips in a heated kiss. He couldn't be happier than he was because the woman he loved agreed to be his wife and was carrying his child. He couldn't wait to tell the world but that would have to wait until after they told their families about their pending wedding and the fact that they were expecting a baby.
