Our Future

I've always asked myself why happiness is so easily lost. I've never found that answer and I don't think I ever will. But I try to be as content as I can be.
Hoping and fighting for a better world that I want the next generation to live in. I've always tried to have a hopeful, optimistic look on the future of the world but every day, that hope seems to fade.
It looks as if the world can only plunge into the despair it's creating. Some have lost the outlook of the world ever being a good place to live. But, then again, was it ever?
In all my years, I don't know if anything had been happy until now. But, I can only live and be content. So, why worry when the world around me is happy?

I wanted to leave this for all of you while I'm away. This is just a REALLY short narrative by Kenshin. I like to get into his head; he's just so fun to write. I don't need a lot of reviews for this one since it's just a short little free verse poem. Just one would make me happy though. Love and peace y'all!
