Prologue
I had only been a Vampire for 2 weeks. Edward said I was doing so well. Carlisle was very stunned but none the less Impressed with my Transformation and adaptation into the rest of eternity. He was also very impressed and intrigued with my 2 week old daughter Renesmee. She was only 2 weeks old and she already looked as though she was 4 years old. She could also speak as though she was 10 years old, and she was so smart and intelligent it was hard to believe. She had the power to show people her thoughts and memories through touch. Me and Edward were amazed by this but we were so proud of our beautiful little angel. She had long copper hair that fell in ringlets around her perfect little heart shaped face, Her eyes were medium brown, she was as strong as any vampire, she had a light blush to her cheeks, due to a mix of blood and anti-venom in her system, she drank blood most of the time, although occasionally she would eat Esme's chocolate chip cookies, even though she preferred Cougars Blood over anything else. She was our little angel. Jacob had already imprinted on her. Edward wasn't very happy about it though, although he was pleased to an extent that Renesmee would always have somebody who would die for her protect her, when we weren't able to which would be never to us but it was still nice to know. I had just discovered my power about a week ago, when Edward couldn't hear my thoughts for about 3 hours. We soon found out that I could block vampire's mental powers, so I had a shield, I could block people from entering my mind. It came in handy when Alice, Rosalie and I would play pranks on the boys. All was well in my life until Alice had the Vision that would put My Daughter in the greatest danger we thought possible.
