You Already Promised

The morning sun dawned as the archangel Michael sat in front of the boy in his temporary vessel. As the boy, his future vessel, sat up and rubbed his eyes, Michael stood up.

"Hello, Dean Winchester." Michael said, standing in front of the blue bed. Dean startled and opened his mouth to let out a startled yelp, only to be silenced. "I am not here to hurt you. I only need to ask you a question."

Michael knew this was not what angels ever did, but his brother could not win. Dean still looked suspicious, but he nodded. "I need you to say yes to this question, and I will protect you from what will soon come to this home."

The mother's casualty certainly was bad, but it would influence Dean's whole future. The demon would not get to Dean after hurting Lucifer's vessel. Dean looked questioning, but didn't speak. 'Good' Michael thought.

"You will feel a lot of pain in your future because of this, but it is for the better. Will you become my vessel for defeating my brother?"

Dean panicked for a second, but remembering what the mysterious man had said, his four-year old mind smiled and Dean whispered. "Yes, I will." Michael smirked before touching two fingers to the four-year old's skull. He fell back against the bed, fast asleep. Michael was gone before the sun had risen high above the horizon.

Michael still didn't regret his decision as the angel that had been futilely protecting Dean exploded. He turned back to Lucifer, who was in Sam Winchester's body. "You won't win, Lucifer." Michael snarled and when he was pushed into the cage with his brother, he snarled furiously. Then the hole sealed up, and Michael was staring at his very mad brother.

So my first Supernatural one-shot. So sorry if anyone is OOC. Michael is just hard to write, you know! Anyways, love ya!
