Length: 100 words
Missing scene from the year after Sam jumped into the pit, post season 5.
"Do you want to help decorate the tree?" Lisa asked.
Dean shook his head. "Do you think Ben will understand?"
"It's your first Christmas without Sam. He'll understand."
Dean pulled her close and she smiled up at him, kissing him gently.
"You smell like peppermint," he murmured.
"I might've had a candy cane or two."
"MOM!" Ben's voice came from the other room. "WHERE ARE ALL THE CANDY CANES?"
Lisa giggled against Dean's chest. He relished the feel of her in his arms but he knew he'd give it all up if only he could have his brother back again.
