Prologue
Hikaru Shidou woke up to the tapping of windows. She sat up, rubbed her eyes groggily and looked out of the window, jumping when she saw an owl with a letter attached to its legs. She opened the window to allow the owl in. It jumped onto her bed and flew off after Hikaru took the letter.
Hikaru picked up the yellowish envelope and looked curiously at the odd address on it. She opened the envelope and pulled out a letter which read:
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)
Dear Miss Shidou,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Due to your age and certain past experiences, you will be placed amongst the fifth years. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipments.
Term begins on September 1 but we would appreciate it if you could arrive on August 1. We await your owl no later than July 31.

P.S. Just in case you might want to know, there will be a pupil helping you along the year in case you might need any help. His name is Harry Potter.
Hikaru blinked a little blankly after she read the letter, Witchcraft? Owl? What is it all about? She kept the letter in her pocket and decided to ask Umi and Fuu later that day when they meet at the Tokyo Towers. What she didn't know was that her two friends also received the same letter.
In England
Harry Potter woke up to a very weird dream. There had been a phoenix, a dragon and a maneless lion that were standing behind three girls and a funny creature that looked like a rabbit. However, when he tried to take a closer look, the image faded and the next thing he knew, he woke up.
He looked at his watch that said 3.00 a.m. Knowing that he would not be able to sleep after that, he decided to entertain himself by doing his Potions essay (A/N: I know its lame but I honestly could not think of anything else.)
He was interrupted when an owl flew in and dropped off two letters, one which was the usual letter from Hogwarts. The other was a letter from Dumbledore which made him very curious. He opened it and read:
Harry,
You will be helping a transfer student from Japan by the name of Hikaru Shidou. You are requested to arrive at school on August 1 to show her around.
Harry's mind was buzzing after he read the letter. Transfer student? Since when did Hogwarts start to accept transfer students? He decided to push the questions aside for the moment and went downstairs to ask Uncle Vernon whether he could bring him to King's Cross Station on August 1.
