Teito did a spitake. "No, oh hell no."
Frau pouted, what was left of his bravado easily falling apart. Even when down on his knees, he sat up higher than the sitting teen. He awkwardly held the black velvet box in his palm, instantly regretting the whole thing. "What? I haven't even asked yet!"
The brunette wasn't even listening to him. "How did you even afford that? You don't even have a stable income?
The blond squirmed, smiling sheepishly. That was the last detail the bishop had wanted the teen to know about. "Yeah...I've been saving up for a while."
His lips parted in shock and his jaw unhinged, staring at Frau with unreadable eyes. Frau didn't know what to make of it. The teen lowered his arms and slumped against the chair. "You saved up..." he said more to himself than the other.
Despite the teen's very apparent refusal, his behaviour was forthcoming. "Is that a yes or a no?"
Teito's green eyes went misty. "It's a maybe."
