Kairi's Journey: The Search For Sora
Chapter one: absolution
In the years when the keyblade found it's rightful master, Sora. Kairi was taken from him in an instant when the heartless attacked Destiny Island and opened the door. Soon, Sora, goofy, and Donald discovered that the shadow- hunter Ansem was under this little plot of taking Kairi and opening the last door. Ansem failed. Having defeated the heartless Ansem and closed the door to ever lasting darkness, Sora and Kairi faced a terrible fate. Sora had to continue his journey while she stayed on Destiny Island, alone. Years later, the journey of Keyblade was not over. Sora, Donald, and goofy had stumbled upon a letter that Pluto held in his mouth. They followed Pluto as far as they could, but never caught up to him and now look for King Mickey and Sora's best friend, Riku.
All alone on Destiny Island, Kairi Sat there with nothing more than a frown on her face. She had for two years thought about Sora and the times they had together and why fate has separated them. "Sora, wherever you are. I'll always wait for you." Kairi sadly said out loud, "I will find you, even if it is the last thing I do. I will not let you go!" She sat still once more and still dwelled on Sora, but as she sat there she heard a voice off in the distance call, " Kairi!" Kairi recognized the voice and quickly jumped to her feet. Standing there without a clue, she could hear the cries becoming louder and louder. Finally, an image appeared in front of her. Vague at first, the image smiled at her. It was an image of Sora. "Kairi!" The image called again, "Remember what you said before? I'm always with you too. I'll come back to you, I promise!" "Sora!" Kairi exclaimed when the voice changed, "Sora? Hey you all right there, man? Kind of out of it, yea?"
".Sorry, Wakka." Kairi apologized feeling embarrassed. The image of Sora disappeared and there Wakka stood with a smile on his face. Wakka turned around and observed his surroundings to verify that no one was there. "Kairi, you have not been sleeping in days now. Don'tcha think you better go home? Your mother is scolding me like an animal!" Wakka extended his hand to Kairi, " Come now!"
"Hey wait guys!" A high-pitched voice called from the trees. "Get down her now or I'll make sure you are sent straight to hell!" Wakka yelled in a commanding tone of voice. There he was, Tidus, as small as ever and scrawny to boot. Tidus jumped from the cocanut tree to the ground behind Kairi and said, "What's the big rush?" Tidus asked in an innocent voice. "Our parents are going to have a fit if were not at the party tonight." Kairi told Tidus.
Tidus smiled and turned towards the left, looking at the boats. "Lets go now, ma-" Kairi interrupted Wakka, " No! I'm leaving!"
