A/N: This will be a series of short drabbles giving everyone's thoughts on Haymitch. Set in the universe of The Quarter Quell Redux. Dedicated to my amazing friend SkyeElf as a thank you for all the help she gives me.
Chapter 1: Katniss
Haymitch. When I first met him I did not like him. He was brash, cocky, and rude. He never seemed to take anything seriously. Then I got to know him better. He is a truly caring person all be it blunt. He would do everything in his power to help those he cares about.
Is he rude?
Yes!
Is he blunt, pron to insult people and get drunk?
Of course, but that's who he is.
He may be very hard to get along with at times, but he usually has the best intentions at heart.
Honestly to some up my opinion of Haymitch it would be this. If I ever had to enter the arena again I wouldn't want any one else to be my mentor.
