Eddie's pov
I used to have homeschooling but my mom wants me to go to a public school. She wants me to socialize and she says that going to school is just the way to do that. I don't really see her point. I socialize but I am just too busy to hang out with my friends. Now that I think about it, maybe going to school isn't so bad. I'll be able to look at hot girls and maybe I'll even get a girlfriend. My driver stops in front of West Valley Highschool and I take a look around. It's just a normal school because I refused to go to a school for only rich people. Rich people think they're better than everyone else and it's extremely annoying. I get out of the car and a crowd of screaming girls starts to form around me. That's the downside of going to a public school. Just when I'm starting to wonder how to get away from these people, a girl with black hair grabs my arm and pulls me out of the crowd while screaming, "Get a life people!" I chuckle and let her pull me towards a table. I sit down with her and three other guys. I smile at her, "Thank you.." I leave a pause for her to tell me her name. "My name is Melissa Sanders but you can call me Mel. These are Adam, Cameron and Ian." "Well, thank you for saving me from those crazy people Mel." "No biggy, I just can't stand the screaming girls." "So could you fill me in on how things go around here?" "Sure. Over there are the geeks and over there are the populars. The populars are led by that brunette Loren Tate. Her blond friends Chloe Carter and Adriana Masters are mean but Loren is just the meanest person ever."
As Melissa is saying all of this, I'm just looking at the girl who she told me is Loren Tate. I've got to admit that she's one piece of hotness. The way she's dressed is challenging with a really short tight leather skirt and a sexy red top which shows part of her breasts. "Hello? Rockstar?", Melissa interrupts my thoughts. "Oh I'm sorry Melissa. What were you saying?" "Well, first of all. You're staring." Okay, now I'm embarrassed. "Forget about her Eddie.", Melissa tells me. I pretend that I don't know what she's talking about, "What?" "You know what I mean. You can forget about Loren Tate because it's not going to happen. Practically every guy in school has tried but she just doesn't date."
Loren's pov
I was sitting at my usual table for lunch when I heard a bunch of girls screaming. I look over and see a whole crowd of girls surrounding somebody. I jump a little when Adriana starts to scream. "OMG, IT'S EDDIE DURAN!" I react irritated, "Gosh Adriana, keep it down girl." "You know, one day I'm going to marry him.", Chloe says. "Keep telling yourself that.", Tyler reacts. "I personally think that he'll be perfect for Loren.", Adriana says. "No way, some day Loren will be mine.", Tyler gives his opinion on the matter and I'm immediately irritated again. They're all so pathetic talking about things that are never going to happen. "In your dreams.", I tell him. "So, what do you think about Eddie Lo? Perfect for you right?", Adriana asks me. "I don't care, can you all just shut the fuck up about it?", I respond irritated. "Why is he sitting with Melissa and her loser friends?", Chloe wonders. "I don't know but he should totally sit with us. I mean, we're so much more popular and way hotter than that freak Melissa.", Adriana says and I immediately react, "Don't talk about her that way." "Why do you always protect her? She's just a little loser and not even your friend.", Chloe says and I snap at her, "Just shut up okay?!" They all back off now because they know they don't want to make me angry. "Anyway, we'll make sure Eddie sits with us.", Chloe continues. "How do you wanna do that?", Adriana asks her. "We'll just go over there and show him how hot and popular we are." "What makes you think that he'll fall for it?", Adriana asks. "Because we have our girl Loren with us. Are you in Lo?" I really don't care if this Eddie guy sits with us but I'm bored with this conversation so it sounds like a nice distraction. "Yeah, whatever. Come on girls."
Eddie's pov
Just as Melissa finishes her sentence, Loren and her friends walk over to us. I wonder what they want. "Hey Eddie. I'm Chloe, that's Adriana and this is my girl Loren." I'm still wondering what they want so I just awkwardly respond with hi. "Can we ask you why you're sitting with these losers?", Chloe asks me with a disgusted face. If I'm not mistaken, I can see Loren get a little bit angry at that question. I decide to stick up for Melissa and her friends. "Because I think they're pretty cool." "Maybe they're cool but me and my friends are hot.", the girl who I think is Adriana says while twirling a lock of her hair with her finger. I just look at her weirdly. That's when Loren sits down on my lap making me even more confused. She wraps one of her arms around my neck and her head is now even closer to mine making me breathe heavier. Then I can feel her place one of her hands on my leg, using her finger to stroke my thigh. She leans in closer to my ear and whispers, "So, how about you come sit with us?" Her voice is husky and that in combination with her stroking finger totally turns me on but I won't fall for it. As big as the urge to continue this is, I won't do that to Melissa while she has only been nice to me. From the corners of my eyes I can see that about everybody is staring at us but Loren doesn't seem to care. "Sorry girls, but I'm fine sitting right where I am." Loren kisses my cheek and lets it linger for a few seconds before getting off my lap. "Your loss pretty boy." She turns around and walks back to her table while my eyes are focused on her ass. I definately need a cold shower after that. Loren sits down and I look back at Melissa. "You know, she wasn't like this before.", Melissa says.
