Deep Roads
Slowly we walked,
The only noise came
From our breath and our footsteps.
The silence was unnerving.
Yet no one dared to speak.
If we did then….
Then they would come
And it would end, badly.
At the same time,
We needed them to come.
We were banished here
To fight until death.
Some of us were criminals.
Some innocents.
Forced to fight till our deaths.
To defend the city that abandoned us.
A/N: This is my first fanfiction reviews would be loved. I don't mind criticism but I do ask that you please be respectful. It is possible to tell someone they suck politely. ;-)
