Kaoru's solitude
Now that Hikaru had Haruhi as a girlfriend, he spent more time with her than with his brother.
It was Hikaru and Kaoru's birthday, but Kaoru said he was going out to celebrate it later, that he had homework. That way Hikaru and Haruhi went out the rest of the day.

Kaoru was just about to fall asleep, when he felt a really hard pain inside his chest.
''What is this pain? Why am I feeling as if I was stabbed?'' Kaoru thought.
He was so alone, and didn't know the cause of that pain.
He went downstairs, to the kitchen to grab a snack, when he saw an amber bottle, where you could read the words ''CYANIDE'', what was that doing there?
Kaoru grabbed the bottle and went upstairs to his room, once he was sitting on his enormous bed, holding the bottle, decided to write a letter to his beloved brother.
Kaoru drank the liquid from the bottle with the word ''Cyanide'' until no drop was left. Within a few minutes, the young man stopped breathing and everything faded to black.

-Shit, Kaoru! - A hysterical Hikaru was yelling at the time he was slamming the door. - Why?! No, please! - Hikaru cried disconsolate, while he strongly embraced his brother. Then he noticed the letter on the bed.
''Hikaru, I knew this would happen. That soon enough you'd have to fly by yourself y love someone else than me. How stupid am I?
Wish you the best in this life, love Kaoru.''
