A short poem about Esmeralda
Disclaimer: I do not own The Hunchback of Notre-Dame
Music rang out all around her
Its tempo pulsating through her body
Crowds of people watched her
Amazed but envious
Her hair swished and swayed in the air
Like it was dancing to the upbeat music too
Ruby red trinkets clicked and shined as she danced her way in front of the crowd
Her mask shielding her face
The music was reaching its peak, her body moving faster until. . . .
The crowd gasped
The music came to an end. . .
The thunderous sound of applause deafened her ears
The crowd throws money at her feet as she took a bow
With a twirl and a well-aimed smoke bomb
She vanished, once again retiring for the day
Finished~
