I Will?
Author Note: Hey, fellow PRS fans! Pooffoop1 here with her one-shot sequel to World Wide. For those of you who have not read it, READ IT PLEASE! But to be fair, Emily has just come home from Toyko. Why? Read it and learn. :D
"You know," Antonio's snickering woke Jayden up, "I didn't think you would go that crazy."
His cheeks burning, Jayden mumbled, "We didn't. We just fell asleep here."
"Right," Antonio patted his shoulder, "we might want to get to the doctor."
Emily hit him with a pillow as a response. Smirking, Jayden tossed of the blanket to rise with his girlfriend. The two had fallen asleep together on the couch the previous night, and it just had to Antonio to find them before they woke up. The Mexican boy laughed and fixed up a fish omelet breakfast.
The Samurai laughed and joked around as Emily described her brush with flute fame. Jayden joined in, but he was thinking about their being a couple. Being Samurai was their prime mission, but what about after the war? All Jayden wanted to do was be with her forever.
Basically, Jayden wanted to marry that bubbly blonde haired, hazel eyed Yellow Samurai girl.
After breakfast, Jayden whacked on a dummy. He couldn't stop thinking about it. But how could he marry her if they were Samurai? But he had to make some kind of move.
"Jayden, what's wrong?" Emily asked him.
"Nothing," he shook his head, blinking, "want to sparr?"
Later in the evening, he lay awake in bed. He didn't know what to do. He wanted so bad to marry her and have lots of babies with her. But he couldn't yet and he knew it. But then what could ease his mind?
Suddenly, he sat up in bed. Swinging his legs over the side, he trotted into town and went to the jewelry shop. Early the next morning, he finally fell asleep with his gift in his hand. All day he acted normal when it was morning light.
"Hey, Emily?" he looked at her as they sparred, "I want to cook for you tonight. I've got the others cleared out. Sound okay?"
Blushing, she replied, "Sounds wonderful." She then knocked him over.
That night, the two ate their noodles together. Emily smiled at him, and his heart beat faster and faster. Finally, he decided it was time.
"Emily," he looked at her, and she smiled up to him, "can I ask you a question?"
"Sure," she set down her fork, "but first I want to ask you a question."
Shyly, she brought out a yellow ring. Jayden gasped as he brought out his red one.
"Jay.." she gaped at the ring, "I wanted…I was going…"
"Me, too," he nodded, "Emily, I wanted you to marry me. But it's too early for that to happen, so…"
"I wanted you to promise to marry me," she finished with a blush.
He slid the ring onto her finger, and she did the same to him.
"There," he laced his fingers through her, "now one day we'll get married."
"And when the time comes," Emily put her head on his chest, "I will."
