Oops
A.N.: This is a quick blurb from the deep, dark abyss of my mind. I'm collaborating with imclearlyamazing from Wattpad, so check out their fic when it's up. The idea behind this is: do actors ever call themselves or each other by their characters instead of their real names? I don't own Supernatural or the actors. (But don't we all wish we did?) Enjoy!
So many weird things happen on Supernatural, one can only imagine the stuff that happens behind the scenes. Indeed, hilarity ensues between takes on nearly every episode. The following was one such time.
Jared and Jensen were hanging out off the set, Misha in the adjacent room, when Jared found the most unusual thing on Wattpad.
"Hey, Dean. Or, Jensen, come check this out," he said, smiling at his slip up.
"What is it, Sa-Jared?" Jensen replied absentmindedly, snapping out of it before he could make the same mistake. Jared simply beckoned him over with a wave of his hand. Jensen obeyed, leaving his phone on his chair and reading the short fanfiction that had apparently been posted.
About them.
Jensen laughed at the situation his friend had been put in, conveniently disregarding the fact he was in the exact same position.
"Have you ever done that? Besides now, of course," he asked, glancing at the moose-boy.
"Oh yeah, one time," he began, chuckling just as much. "I was having trouble opening something and I was like 'oh, come on, Sam.' And it took me a minute but I was like 'Jared, Jared, my name is Jared."
"I did pretty much the exact same thing," Jensen replied. "Hey Cas," he called giddily. Jared joined in the rousing chorus of "Cas, Cas," before realizing himself and yelling "Misha," instead, Jensen immediately catching on. From behind the door, Misha's uproarious laughter could be heard, sounding near tears. Even the camera men were laughing at the cast's cackling.
The next take wasn't taken until about a half hour later.
