Italics are Santana's thoughts.
"Mi hermosa amor"- roughly translates as "My beautiful love."
Sunlight streamed through the open window, its warmth awakening the sleeping Latina. Santana quietly moaned and turned over, gaze instantly mesmerized by the beautiful blonde lying next to her.
Santana smiled. After they had made love last night, Brittany had insisted that they open the curtains so the moon could witness their love for each other. Unable to deny her wife anything, Santana contently complied.
At the memory Santana quietly giggled. Wife. Brittany was her wife. Brittany Susan Pierce Pierce-Lopez, Santana reminded herself, was now completely hers and hers alone.
In the early morning sunlight Brittany had an almost celestial glow to her. Mi hermosa amor. Santana gently began to trail kisses down her wife's neck, inhaling Britt's unique scent of lilies.
Brittany had once said that lilies were the lesbian of flowers. To Santana they represented everything that Brittany was, her kindness, her beauty, and her steadfast belief and devotion to Santana and their love.
As blue eyes began to sleepily open in response to her ministrations, Santana's thoughts swirled with images of having a home in New York, slow dancing in the living room after a long day at work, and a little girl with blue eyes named Lily playing with Lord and Lady Tubbington.
Maybe in a few years I'll hit up Legolas or Frodo for their little swimmers considering they owe me and Britt for life.
"Good morning Mrs. Lopez-Pierce," a voice as sweet as bells said. Santana smiled as she gazed at her lily in the sunlight.
"Good morning Mrs. Pierce-Lopez."
