The Traitor
"Charge!" Was the only word heard trough out Robotnic's base as Sonic, Tails, Rotor, Amy, Knuckles, and Bunnie were infiltrating Robotnic's base. Sally had already entered the base with a sniper and was so posted to be killing S.W.A.T. Bots for them. As they entered though the room was empty.
"This isn't right," Sonic thought aloud.
Suddenly they were surrounded by several lasers that formed cells.
"Knew it!" Sonic exclaimed.
Suddenly the floor opened up to reveal Robotnic and Sally on the platform.
"Sally?!" They all asked simultaneously.
Sally turned to Robotnic, Sniper Rifle in hand.
"Who should I kill first?" Asked Sally, "Sonic?"
"No," Robotnic replied. "Let's make him suffer first, you choose the target."
Sally pumped a bullet into the chamber looked away and randomly fired at one of them.
"AHHHHHH!" Everyone in the room heard Tails scream loudly in pain, before collapsing on the floor.
"Tails!" Exclaimed Amy.
"Tails buddy, speak to me!" Sonic demanded.
"Sss-onic?" Tails asked his voice barely audible.
Suddenly the wall between Sonic and Tails' cells vanished and Sonic rushed to Tails' side.
"Son…ic?" Tails asked.
"Yes?" Sonic replied forcing back tears.
"Remember… me like you… did in the… old days"
"No Tails! Don't leave me!"
"Goodbye… Sonic, thank you… for… everything…"
And with those words Tails died, with Sonic unable to do anything about it.
"Nooooooo!" Sonic shouted to the heavens.
Suddenly a dark aura surrounded Sonic.
"What's this?" Asked Robotnic.
Then he remembered Sonic's dark form.
"RETREAT!" exclaimed Robotnic before the Robotnic and Sally teleported out.
Sonic then calmed down and began to cry, cry for the loss of his brother.

Wow this was hard to write! Tails is one of my favorite characters and killing him off is hard. Please review nicely.
