He was all alone, they weren´t there, his mom was clear, she didn´t want him there when they come back.
He was a strong men, but seeing that kind of rejection from his mother hurts him.
He was sitting in the Attic, he was so tired, he felt so helpless, nobody was there so he start singing the song that made him think about his mom.
The charmed ones and Leo came back in order to see if he was gone when they saw him, and they heard him.

They wanted to go in there and kick his ass away when a light beggining to form, the Charmed ones and Leo were left numb when they saw who she was.
Future Piper was there and she was singing too.

She was singing, future Piper has singing and hugging Chris life if her life depend on that, Phoebe could feel all the love the young witchwitheligther felt for her older sister and it was clearly returned, all could see the love in future Piper´s eyes, she loves him.
Leo felt jealous he was thinking that maybe future Piper and Chris were in a relationship, but when he look more close, he could see that, he was wrong that kind of love wasn´t in their eyes, no it was something more, no they weren´t a couple but they love each other.
But Piper knew, when she saw her future self, she knew, when she saw the look in her future self´s eyes she knew, Chris was her baby.
"Chris is my son, our son, and your nephew, and more important Wyatt´s little brother"
"what?, what ´re you saying? How could you know?"
"Leo look at him, all of you look at him, he is just like me, with your eyes, he is our son, the baby im carrying, your nephew and Wyatt´s little brother"
"but how do you know?" her youngest sister asked again
