The Suite Life of Dean and Sam
In 'Lucifer Rising', when Dean made that crack about the 'Suite Life of Zach and Cas', didn't you wonder how Dean knew about the Disney show? I know I did and this is my take on how Dean discovered the show. Just a short one-shot. Please read and review.
Both boys were weary from finishing their last hunt and pulled into the first decent motel they saw. The neon sign indicated they had vacancies and that was good enough for Sam and Dean. Sam had fallen asleep so Dean got out and got them checked in. It was a family friendly motel and although the rooms were sparse they were clean. Dean was looking forward to watching some Pay-per-View to unwind from the nights hunt.
'Why don't you take the shower first Sam', Dean offered. 'You look awful'.
'Right back at you, Sunshine', Sam tossed back sarcastically.
Sam didn't look this gift horse in the mouth and grabbed some clean clothes and toiletries from his duffel. He went into the bathroom and shut the door.
Dean plopped onto the bed and grabbed the remote. He switched on the TV and started flipping through the channels. Maybe there would be a good action movie on or some Casa Erotica. He turned to the Pay-per-View channel and a message popped onto the screen: 'This channel has been blocked due to unsuitable content for our younger viewers'.
'Great', Dean thought. Of course he had to get the room with the Parental Control. Dean tried to unlock the Parental Control but to no avail. Resigned to the fact there would be no shoot 'em up action movie and no porn, Dean flipped to the next channel. 'Just my luck, it's the Disney channel'.
Twenty minutes later Sam was just finishing up his shower and he did feel a lot better. He even left some hot water for Dean. He could hear the TV and hoped that Dean wasn't watching porn. Now that would be awkward!
He walked out of the bathroom towel drying his hair and looked up to see Dean watching…what was Dean watching? It wasn't porn and it wasn't an action flick.
Surprised, Sam asked 'Dude, what are you watching?'
A bit embarrassed, Dean tried to switch the channel but not before Sam saw the Disney logo on the screen.
'Are you watching the Disney channel?'
'Well, there was nothing else on', Dean replied a little sheepishly. 'You were in the bathroom for so long Samantha and I was getting bored.'
Dean was feeling embarrassed and Sam couldn't pass up the opportunity to rib him some more. 'I always knew that there was a tween girl in there. You do seem to overcompensate a bit much'.
'Shut up', Dean said as he threw a pillow at Sam.
'Seriously, what are you watching?'
'It's a show called the Suite Life of Zach and Cody. They're showing a marathon. It's about twin brothers who live in a hotel and they get into all sorts of trouble. Wouldn't it be the life, to live in a luxury hotel with 24 hour room service? Speaking of room service, I'm hungry'.
'You're always hungry, man. C'mon, go take your shower and we'll go grab something to eat. Or do you want me to bring you something back so you don't miss your precious show?', Sam teased.
'Jerk'
'Bitch'
