Hermione POV
I was just walking out of transfiguations class and was going to meet up with Harry and Ron so we could go to potions together. I walked to the stair cases and waited in front of the Gryffindor painting entrance. For some reason I knew something bad woud happen. How do you think I know? Well for starters, Ron almost blew himself up in charms. Harry almost killed himself in quittige practice. And I got an A- on an essay. And nothing would make my day with Professser Snape chasting me about being "an insufferable know-it-all".
I was about to head to potions on my own when suddenly Harry and Ron came up running. They looked as if they ran for an hour straight.
"What did you do now," I asked looking at Harry. Harry looked at Ron for a breif moment before answering
"Malfoy," was all he said. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Well, come on, we don't want to be late to class, do we? Or do you want a depressing detention with Snape?" I asked raising an eyebrow. Rons face lit with horror at the thought. "Come on then," I said. We quickly walked down the hall where students were walking about either messing around or going to class.
We finally arrived in the dungeons and walked into the classroom where others were gathered around their culdrons getting ready for class. Just as I sat down in my seat Professer Snape walked into the classroom.
Esme POV
I was sitting in the living room sitting on the couch with Renesmee next to me. Bella and Edward had left her with me since they wanted some time alone. The others went shopping and who know where. Carlisle, of course, went to work in Seattle. So, it was just me and Nessie.
I was reading with her next to me with her head on my shoulder, scanning the book. By now, she may as well be able to read Shakespeare.
I was to engrossed in the reading I didn't realize Carlisle had come home. I was just just about to turn the page when I saw Nessie smiling. I raised an eyebrow at her when suddenly I was picked up from behind.
"Ahhhh," I cried at the sudden movement. I was met with the face of my husband. He smiled as if he was the happiest man in the world. "Carlisle," I said with a teasing pout on my face. He smiled and quickly kissed me on the lips.
"Hello love," he murmured. I sighed and smiled and shook my head. Everyone suddenly burst in and Alice had a blank expression. Carlisle looked at them curiously.
"Alice saw something but she doesn't know what it is," Edward explained. "All she saw was a castle."
Suddenly everything went black.
