For Ulrich, life is boring without William. One night, he goes to the factory to talk to him about his anger in the Desert sector of Lyoko. Oneshot. Takes place three months after the end of the last episode of 'Code Lyoko: Evolution' in an alternate universe. Based on a motivational speech that was aired on Cartoon Network several years back. It was well over three months since the supercomputer had been turned back on; it was in Tyron's will because he died of terminal stomach cancer. He even let Aelita attend Kadic again, which made her last name once again become 'Stones'. For Ulrich Stern, however, life was boring because he missed his rival, William Dunbar.

One night, Jeremy Belpois, the leader of the Lyoko Force, got an e-mail from Franz Hopper. He wanted to tell Ulrich, but he was already at the factory; his best friend, Odd Della-Robbia, was up and just stared at Ulrich's bed. He had left his smartphone there, turned off.

At the factory, Ulrich told William to meet him in the Desert sector; he was going to talk to him about why the XANA Warrior was so angry at him and his friends. No fighting, just a regular heart-to-heart talk.

When Ulrich was virtualized on Lyoko's Desert sector, William saw him and told his monster minions to stand down. The Lyoko Samurai and the XANA Warrior then sat down on a nearby rock sitting across from one another.

"William," Ulrich started, "when you first attended Kadic we saw each other as rivals. Now we see each other as enemies. Tell me what made you so angry."

"Well, Ulrich," Will said in his XANA voice, "when the Scyphozoa brainwashed me, I was angered and started attacking you and your friends."

"What happened after you destroyed Lyoko's core?" Ulrich asked.

"I made a huge amount of rage." William continued, "I also attempted to destroy Yumi's NavSkid."

"William," said Ulrich, "rage can hold you back. You have to turn your anger into something positive; otherwise you'll never learn from your mistakes and be angry forever."

Will then started to be sad and said, "You're right; I should turn my anger into something positive and not let rage hold myself back. How about a hug before I send you back to Earth with my sword?"

They hugged each other and William gave Ulrich a good handshake. Then Will gave his rival a simple poke in the chest with the tip of his sword to give Ulrich a friendly devirtualization.

After Ulrich returned to Earth, he went to the Lab, put on the headset, and told William to remember what the Lyoko Warrior told the XANA Warrior. When he got back to his room, he saw his friends waiting for him. Ulrich told them about the friendly talk he had with William about anger. His friends and Yumi gave him a group hug.

The next day he was in Physics class, staring out the window, daydreaming about how much he misses William. Meanwhile in Lyoko's Desert sector, Will was laying down on a Blok, staring at the virtual sky, thinking about how much he misses Ulrich.

The Frog Ninja here. I just want to say that this is my first Code Lyoko fanfic and my second overall. This story was inspired by a motivational speech that aired on Cartoon Network a few years back. The speech was on anger and it became my favorite. Anger can be a educational tool; rage can hold you back. You have turn your anger into something positive otherwise you'll never learn from your mistakes and be angry forever. Don't forget to read and review. Peace out!
