AN: a slightly different change made, you'll see when you read enjoy. SHENNY ftw

She was the one that found her on the bathroom floor covered in blood and crying her eyes out.
Jenny.
Her soul had disappeared within time, and that's what scared Shane. If her best friend, one of the strongest people she knew was slipping away, then what was gonna happen to her? Jenny was the one that always managed to make it out from the hole. She was the one that managed to come out to the surface and shine with her confidence. She was the one that had always been there for her, and who had pushed her to give Carmen a chance.
Shane tried to take deep breaths in able to calm herself down. She knew what she had to do, this wasn't the first time she had encountered a similar situation like this. She took the towel that was hung on a hook next to her and gently wrapped it around Jenny's leg. She whispered soothing words to her friend whose soul was now broken in to small pieces. Each piece had its own history. Tim, Marina, her past.
Shane hushed carefully and gathered the tiny figure into her arms. Jenny looked up to her savior's eyes, she felt even more disappointment at herself when she saw that she had actually hurt the brunette. Shane knew what Jenny must've been thinking because she brushed her lips wherever she could find visible skin. Jenny started to cry even harder at the emotion she was feeling.
"Shh… Hey? ...Hey Honey? It's ok I'm here. You're gonna be all right. I'm gonna get you some help" She soothed her friend.
"No, No. It's not going to be all right. You're gonna leave me." She managed to gasp out the words before she once again buried herself into Shane's arms.
"Jenny?" She pulled back from their embrace so she could properly see into Jenny's eyes.
"Look at me. I am not going to leave you, You're my best friend, the only best friend I've ever had, and I love you" When Shane saw that the girl wasn't responding she cupped gently Jenny's cheek into her hand, and made the brunette look into her eyes.
"Jenny I love you, do you hear me? I love you"
The girl in her arms couldn't help but to react to these words, maybe she had a chance after all.
When Shane saw that she got a reaction, she once again brushed her lips over Jenny's face and then last her lips. It was so quick that it shouldn't have been considered a kiss. And even if it was it would have been in a friendly gesture rather than something else. But for a moment there, there was a new emotion to the both of them.
Jenny hugged the woman for life, the roles had been changed, she was the one that had a savior now.
"It's ok" Shane kept reassuring the girl.

You're gonna be ok.
