I decided to publish this drabble I wrote for my creative writing class. The first sentence had to be As soon as I saw the handwriting on the envelope, I smiled, then I did the rest.

Blair has married Louis.
As soon as I saw the handwriting on the envelope, I smiled.
How could I not recognize it, after all the time spent studying the way he wrote every single letter?
I was all alone in the castle: Louis had gone to an important conference abroad. Yet, I couldn't find the courage to open that letter.
What if he wrote me to tell me I broke his heart?
I already knew that; I was aware I had made a mistake by not running away with him and marrying Louis.
Finally, I opened it.
I'll fight for you.
I smiled again.
