,,Just you wait till I'm emperor" – a ,,I just can't wait to be king" parody by GreatMarta

If you know anything about Japanese imperial family: read ahead. If not, the explanations are at the bottom.

NARUHITO:

I'm gonna be the emperor, so enemies beware

AKISHINO:

Well alright, you're first in line, but what about your girl?

NARUHITO:

I'm gonna change the law for good, so she could be my heir

You and your son stay outta way, or else you'll die in pain

AKISHINO:

You'll kill tradition! That's against the law!

NARUHITO:

Just you wait till I'm emperor!

AKISHINO:

A long way to go, big brother! If you think…

NARUHITO

No one call me ,,Dead pants"

No one says my wife sucks

No one mocks my daughter

No one tells me,,Make sons"

AKISHINO:

It's your duty!

NARUHITO:

Finally Masako's health improves

AKISHINO:

As an empress? No way

NARUHITO:

Finally we can lead the cruise

AKISHINO:

I think it's time that you realize

Your plan could never work

NARUHITO:

You're just envious of me

Your better stop to run that joke

AKISHINO:

If this is what you think of me

I have to make it clear:

I am smarter, I am taller,

Mora handsome than you too

My son and I will one day get your throne

NARUHITO:

Just you wait till I'm emperor

Everybody look left

Everybody look right

Anywhere you look I'm standing in spotlight

AKISHINO:

Not yet!

CHORUS:

Let every man and woman in Japan

Express their joy and let it fill the air

Prince Naruhito's gonna make our day

NARUHITO and the CHORUS

Just you wait till I'm emperor

Just you wait till I'm emperor

Just you wait till I'm emperor!

EXPLANATIONS:

Naruhito is the crown prince of Japan. Akishino is his younger brother.

Naruhito and his wife Masako only have one daughter: Aiko. She was born to them after 8 years of marriage and one miscarriage. According to the Japanese law, only men can assume the throne.

Last year, Akishino's wife had a baby boy: first male born to the family since his father.

Some people believe Akishino planned it, to stop the debate abut weather to change the law or not. Myself, I believe Naruhito's daughter should succeed after him.
