Severus Snape . . . Even his name leaves an ominous impression. A pale man, who endeavors to stay well-hidden in the shadows, is never too keen to make his presence known. He's an odd man, that's for sure. I doubt he had a kindred fellow in all the world. Even with the other Slytherins, he just doesn't quite fit. While not destitute, he's certainly not rich, like the rest of them. Poor man, I bet he's never had a true friend.
