"I don't claim to be a writer. I just get bored easily."

This is my first story, crappy but I'm proud of myself for being able to sit still long enough to come up with something. Short, but it kept me busy.

ENJOY!... ps, don't be mean.

I DON'T OWN ANYTHING!!!!!

Remus looked all over his room. He had only went to the bathroom and now his essay was no where in sight! It was due tomorrow, and it had taken him three hours to complete! It just couldn't of got up and left, right? Currently he was crawling around on all fours under the table hoping that maybe it had fallen.

"Moony, what are you doing?", came a very amused sounding voice. Looking up from his all four position he saw Sirius peering under the table.

"Not now Sirius. I'm looking for my essay. You haven't seen it have you?", Remus said as he crawled out from underneath the table and sitting in a chair lowering his head to the wood table top, knowing his homework was probably gone for good.

"Hmmm-", Sirius hummed as he took a seat near his friend.

"Was it a stack of papers about yay high?", he used his hands to indicate the size. Remus nodded his head.

"And they were sitting right on the edge of the table?", Sirius continued, and Remus nodded once again.

"Well, I don't know how to tell you this, but...", he paused and Remus scooted closer.

"But, what? Sirius, But what!", Remus was almost to the point of shaking his friend hoping that Sirius would hurry up and reveal the where-a-bouts of his MIA essay.

"They spontaneously exploded, yep", Sirius answered, which left Remus very unamused.

"You can't be serious?", Remus said while leaning back in the chair. All his work, gone. Looking back over at Sirius he saw a very odd look on his friends face. He looked hurt, yet confused at the same time. Before Remus could ask anything Sirius spoke.

''You don't think I'm Sirius?". He asked in a small voice, which only confused Remus more. Had he said something wrong?

"No, I don't. I mean, papers just don't suddenly catch on fire unaided.", Remus said, but the look on Sirius's face didn't subside.

"That wasn't what I ask. You said I wasn't Sirius. I'm your friend, Moony, how can you not think I'm me?", Remus couldn't help but start laughing. Was Sirius being, well, serious?

"What's so funny?", Sirius asked sounding peeved. Remus continued to laugh, and had to wipe a tear from his eye.

"Padfoot,", Remus said once he could breath again.

"Serious is a word.", he tried to explain, which only seemed to confuse the other more.

"My names a word?", he asked with a smile.

"Well yeah, but the spelling is different.", Remus explained, but it was obivious Sirius's ego had taken over.

"I bet it means, awesome, or, sexy, or rad, or something to that affect!", Sirius beamed. Remus just shook his head.

"Sorry to inform you, but serious means somber; grave; not trivial; important.", he explained sounding as if he was reading it from a dictionary. Sirius's ego went from way high up to crashing through the ground. This was not the definition he wanted to hear. There was a moment's of silence, then-

"Seriously!", Sirius said rather loudly and Remus smacked himself in the head. He watched as his friend stormed out of the room, angry. Well since that was over Remus grabbed up some more paper and sat back down to do his essay all over again.

"And just so you know-", suddenly came Sirius's voice from another room.

"I ate your homework!"
