This is Modern Day with Rachel and Lilian going to highschool.

Also, Lilian is kind of a shy person.

Chapter 1: A New Beginning

The sun beamed down, it's blazing hot rays hitting whatever was in its path. It was just the end of summer and was now the start of school.

Rachel wiped her forehead. Sure it was morning but it was still blazing hot. She had finally made it to school from her long walk, her back starting to ache from the weight of her backpack. She smiled weakly upon seeing the school. Moon Highschool.

She then made her way in the building. Students upon students roamed all through the school. She was too mezmerized by the people walking by that she didn't even notice a girl come by, until they rammed into each other. The girl she had hit, had fallen to the floor, as Rachel just stumbled back a bit, trying to register what just happened.

She looked down and gasped as she saw a girl with choppy brown hair, sitting on her rear while rubbing her head and mumbling a small 'ow'. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" Rachel exclaimed as she helped the poor girl up.

"Yeah, just kinda got my brain racked a bit," she said with a nervous chuckle.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention," Rachel said. The girl's eyes then widened and she starrted waving her arms in front of her.

"No no! It's my fault! I'm the clutz and didn't see you," the girl defended. She then outstretched her arm to me and had a huge grin on her face. "Name's Lilian! I'm new here," she beamed.

Rachel smiled and shook her hand. "Rachel. I'm also new here," she said.

Lilian smiled sweetly. "Maybe, we could, you know... be friends?" she asked while looking down at the ground and figitting with her skirt.

"Sure! I'd love that!" Rachel exclaimed happily.

Lilian looked up at her with hopeful eyes. "Really? Thanks! I'm not very good with making friends, because I'm very shy," she said.

Rachel put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. If anyone tries to pick on you, I'll protect you."

Well, that's first chapter. Very short, I know, but it will get longer.

And no, it is not a love story between Lilian and Rachel. I hate yuri (lesbian, not the character). Read the pairing if you thought this.
