"The Jedi didn't tell you?" Malak sneered, "You're not some scout that got lucky. You're Revan."

She stared at him like he was insane, "Yeah, I'm also the queen of Earth." she said snidely, gripping the hilt of her lightsaber a bit tighter. What was he trying to gain by lying?

Malak laughed, "Ask your companions, if you don't believe me."

She eyed him suspiciously, but turned to look at Bastila, Come on, tell me he's lying. She wanted to say, There's no way in hell I'm Revan. But the look that the other Jedi gave her made her hold her tongue. She shook her head, "You knew!?" she demanded, and Bastila found a sudden interest in her shoes. She turned to Carth and could read him like a book, "You knew too…?"

"Demetria, just let me explain-" Bastila started

"Oh, you're not gonna explain shit here," she jabbed a finger at the other Jedi "but you can be damn sure we are going to have a nice, LONG talk when we get back to the ship." she turned her glare to Carth, "You too, Flyboy! I can't believe that- I thought that-" she let out a frustrated sigh, she thought of Carth as her best friend, and she like him a lot more than she would admit… but then why would he keep something like that to himself…? And all that talk about hating Revan? He was just leading her on…?

"See…?" Malak nearly cooed at her "Just how well can you trust your so called friends?" he asked

Demetria jerked her head to send her blood-boiling glare at him, "Shut up!" she demanded, "I just found out my entire life is a lie! I think I'm entitled to a fucking moment here." she hissed as he gave the floor an angry stare, as if this was its fault. "Well, I trust them a lot fucking more than I trust you, douchedick!" she sneered, getting in his face, "You blew up Revan's- MY ship and gave me over to the Jedi! You know, I am pretty bad-ass and you probably fucked your chances of ever winning this war because you gave up your best ally!"

He leaned down, meeting her glare with his own, "I am better than you will ever be!" he hissed

"Oh yeah? Then why'd you have blow up my ship like a coward, huh!? If you're soo-o-o great, how come you didn't kill me like tradition demands!? Why'd you take the pussy way out!?"

Her cheek was burning, he had slapped her, "Let's do this the traditional way then, shall we?" he ridiculed, drawing his lightsaber and putting Bastila and Carth in a statist.

She took a step back and drew her own lightsaber, "Try not to get your blood on my armor." was all she said before the battle began, and she was damn determined to defeat him.
