Chapter one
in the golden age of boxing there was two great fighter known as the "Dragons of fire and steel" the dragon of fire, Igneel was known for his painful upper cut that felt like fire when it hit and speed like no other man has ever achieved out of the 12 times he went for the tittle of champion he won 6 losing the other 6 to the dragon of steel Mettalicana who was known for his supernatural ability to take hit after hit and for his steady jab which would send a man flying. The two only ever took on one apprentice both of the apprentices were homeless boys who had a great fighting spirit. Igneel choose a boy named Natsu who he adopted and gave the last name "Dragneel" and Mettalicana took on a boy named Gajeel and gave him the last name "Redfox." over the years each boy developed very similar traits to their trainers but both developed much stronger scenes of friendship and fighting the both graduated high school all the masters of fighting also known as "the Dragons of Combat" had a meeting all of the dragons had chosen a child at the same age as Igneel and Metallicana except for the sky dragon who waited and her apprentice skipped a few grades so she was still graduating. All the dragons decided to send their fighter to Fairy Tail High School and to once again usher in a new age of marital arts.
