I hope you like it!
Fabian was finally happy. His soul was back and the mystery was over. Okay so maybe Fabian wasn't fully happy. It had always been Nina to solve the mysteries, and he would always be so proud of the 'Chosen One'. His Chosen One.
Fabian had admitted before that He missed Nina. Yeah, Mara was nice, but she wasn't Nina. Nina was special, not because she was the Chosen One, but she was different from any other girl Fabian had met. Her big brown eyes, her long light brown hair, her laugh, oh how he missed her laugh.
As the fireworks lite up the sky, he couldn't shake the nagging feeling that he should call Nina, and have a conversation with her. He needed to hear her voice once more. He took out his phone and went to her contact. A picture he took of her over last summer when she came to visit made him smile. He remembers that day like it was yesterday. They were having a picnic in a park by his house. They couldn't stop laughing and Fabian took this chance to take a picture of his beautiful girlfriend.
He pressed dial, and the phone started ringing. It was roughly 10:30 P.M, so it would 5:30 there, she would be home from school and everything. The ringing stop and it went to her voice mail.
'Hello, This is Nina Martin! I'm really sorry that I couldn't pick up my phone, must have been really busy! Just leave a message and I promise to get back to you later!' Nina's voice crackled through the speaker.
"Hey, Nina! It's Fabian, just wanted to see how you were doing. We all miss you and wish you could be here. I hope your Gran is doing better, I'll talk to you soon, I hope. Bye." He pressed end call and turned back to the fireworks.
The lights in the sky reminded him of when Nina had facetimed him during Forth of July. She was running around trying to find the best view of the fireworks for him.
The next thing he knew, someone jumped on his back. He thought it would be Willow, trying to say hello. But Willow didn't have long brown hair. The person jumped off of Fabian's back and turned him towards them.
"Nina?" Fabian's voice cracked at he looked at his (ex) girlfriend.
"Fabian I missed you." She smiled giving him a hug.
"What are you doing here? I thought you had to be away from Eddie? What about Gran?" His questions kept on falling out of his mouth.
"All that can wait, this can't." She said, looking up into his eyes. They looked the same from that first dance at prom, the dance in the hall.
He leaned down and kissed her, bringing his love into his arms. Oh how he had missed her. Her smile, Her brain, Her everything.
They moved apart, for once neither one blushing from kissing in front of everyone. They were just happy that they could be together once again. Fabian wrapped his arm around Nina's shoulders, and brought her in close.
"So, what have I missed?" Nina looked up at him, eyes in question.
"All that can wait too, in this moment, just be happy we're together." He smiled down at her, the lights of the fireworks dancing in her eyes.
'I missed you, Fabian, I missed you so much."
"I missed you too, Nina. Promise me something?"
"Yes, anything."
"Never leave me again."
"I promise."
They watched as the fireworks lit up the sky. Nina had met Willow and K.T, and said hi to everyone else.
"Fabian?"
"Yes, love?"
"I love you."
"I love you more."
"I love you most."
In that moment, the world was calm. Everything was in it place. Nina was home, Amber was where she belonged and everyone was happy. Even Mara, who had Mick on the phone.
