"Don't say a word," Roy all but growled from behind prison bars.

Wally bit his lip, trying to stifle the giggles threatening to escape. "Dude, I'm trying not to."

"Have they said when they're going to let me out?"

"Rob's working on it now. You'll be out of jail in no time."

"Holding cell," Roy muttered weakly.

"Still jail!" Wally laughed, "I can't believe you went postal on a meter maid!"

Roy crossed his arms defensively. Was it his fault that the meter maid was evil? Really, he couldn't be blamed for what happened. The meter maid deserved it.

"I was only late by a minute. She saw me coming. I even called out to her as she started writing the ticket."

"So that gave you grounds to throw a rock through her rear window as she drove away?"

At Roy's disgruntled look, peals of laughter shook Wally's frame.

"I never said it was smart…"

At that moment, Robin walked into the holding area. "I have good news and bad news."

"Shoot." The faster he got out of here and away from the laughing speedster the better.

"The good news is that they're all set to release you!"

"And?" Roy prompted impatiently.

"The bad news is that you have to pay for the ticket and Linda's new window."

"Linda?"

"The meter maid you went psycho on. She's actually quite nice."

Roy's stomach dropped. If Robin knew the name of the meter maid then that meant that the bad news wasn't over.

"You also have to apologize to Linda before they let you out of here with no charges on your record. Oh, and agree to attend two anger management sessions."

Roy dragged a hand through his hair, "Anger management?"

"It could be worse. They were thinking of making you go to the shrink," Robin grinned.

With a sigh and a heavy heart, Roy said, "Call her in."

15 minutes later Roy Harper was a free man. Well, mostly free. If he didn't attend the anger management sessions, the police had made it clear that he'd get to sit in county for a few days.

"Did you remember to get my bike?"

"Yeah, I parked her across the street," Wally pointed at the beautiful beast.

"Good. If there's a scratch on her you're a dead man, West."

Wally laughed nervously. Robin just stuck his hands in his pockets, bored.

"Thanks for not telling Ollie," Roy smiled.

"No problem!"

Roy parted from Robin and Wally with a wave. Now that all this crap was over with, he could finally get home and just have enough time to start his new game before it was time to patrol.

Wait; was that a tow truck pulling up to his baby? Surely it wasn't for him…?

Five minutes later, Wally received a text that read, "As soon as I get out of lock-up, you're DEAD West."

Notes: It's up to you what Roy did in the end. :D I hope you enjoyed it, and please drop me a note when you're done.
