Disclaimer: I do not own Sheldon and Penny (sadly)... or Leonard... or Raj or Howard, though they are not mentioned in this story... ok, just wanted to put that out there.

I found this story in the depths of my old computer, while cleaning it out (cause I gots me a new laptop! =] ) and decided to post. Remember, reveiwers get a free Sheldon! (just kidding, of course... wish I weren't, though. I'd reveiw on my own story...)

Ok, I'm rambling. Now, Without further a due:

I Thought I Saw:

"I thought I saw…" Leonard blinked at his neighbor. "Never mind… just, never mind." He turned away, still blinking. He didn't need them shipping him off to an asylum. He needn't tell them that he thought he saw them holding hands as they walked up the stairs. Nah…

"I could've sworn I saw…" Leonard looked up into the eyes of his roommate. "Never mind… impossible…" He stalked away, murmuring to himself. There was no way Sheldon hadn't come home from Penny's last night… and His clothes, well, he had a lot of clothes that looked the same. No, Leonard was sure that those weren't the same clothes Sheldon had worn last night. And they only looked a little ruffled because he hadn't had time to iron properly this week… that must be it…

"I was sure I saw…"

"Leonard, what is wrong with you? This is the third time you have come up with some hallucination of sorts and then refusing to tell us it. Is there some neurological disorder you are plagued with that you failed to inform me about?"

"No, no, Sheldon, I'm fine. Just need some more sleep, that's all."

Hopefully he wouldn't dream about seeing Sheldon and Penny kissing on the couch just moments before he walked in. But it couldn't be…

"Hello, Dr. Stevens? This is Leonard Hofstadter. Yes, I'm calling for an appointment… I keep having these hallucinations of impossible scenarios and I'm worried it might be early signs of a neurological affliction…"

* * * * * * * * * * *

"Sheldon, I think Leonard might suspect something…" Penny furrowed a brow at Sheldon, who looked at her inquisitively.

"What makes you think that?"

"I just think he knows… We should tell him." she said slowly, entangling her hand with his. He smiled at the warm feeling, then shook his head, nodding.

"Fine. But We're waiting till after his appointment with the Neurologist. I've been waiting to find out what's going on in his mind for years…"
