A/N: Hello all! I mentioned in my fic Fazed that I was thinking of writing a series of one-shots to go along with a winter/holiday theme. I am starting this later than I originally hoped due to scheduling, but I hope you all enjoy them! This series will be for Captain Rex and my OC Lena Orim. I may write one for my Kylo/OC pairing in the future, but for now I will do this. These will be set in the Star Wars Universe, even if some of them are a little out of place.

Prompt 1: First Snow-SW Universe

Lena opened her eyes, peering into the darkness of the bedroom. A faint amount of moonlight seeped in through the window, causing small shadows to fall across the blanket. Lena turned her head to look out the window, her mouth turning up in a smile at the sight of small white flakes falling outside.

Lena sat up in bed, pushing the blankets from her body. She threw her legs over the side of the bed, getting to her feet and walking towards the window for a closer look. The man asleep next to her in bed groaned at the sudden lack of warmth. His golden eyes opened slowly, blinking in the moonlight.

"Lena, what are you doing? It's freezing! Come back to bed."

Lena stayed at her position near the window, gazing out upon the city. She watched silently as the snowflakes fell from the sky. She had rarely seen snow fall on Coruscant, but when it did, it was a sight to behold.

"Rex, come look! It's snowing!"

Another soft groan came from under the covers before Rex slowly left the bed, padding over to the window to join Lena. He stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her middle, placing his chin on her head. He didn't quite understand what the fuss was all about.

"I don't know why you are so excited about the snow. It's just frozen rain. The fact that it is snowing just means it is cold outside, which doesn't seem like a good thing to me."

Lena leaned back against him, absorbing his warmth.

"Well I guess it's a good thing you run warm."

Rex's lips curled up in a rare smile as he held Lena closer to him. They stood there for a few more minutes, watching the snow fall outside before he turned her away from the window and led her back to the bed.

"You can look at the snow in the morning, but now it's time to be warm again."

The two of them settled back in the bed, Rex pulling the blanket over both of them. Lena sighed happily, thinking of the snow and the man beside her. Happy moments like this were rare, but when they came, they were the most wonderful thing.
