SUNRISE has recently conceptualized a new series, temporarily named Geass. So far, the company has only found actors and actresses for the older characters and still lack young ones to portray the main characters and other relevant young characters. In a reality show hosted by SUNRISE, who among the young recruits will be given the chance to act in this soon-to-be megahit series?
THIS story takes us back to the time before Code Geass was made and how the characters were developed.
"Hi! I'm Marianne, acting as the empress of Britannia, and I have been given the task to host this reality show.", a beautiful black-haired woman spoke to the sixteen to-be actors and actresses.
"The unique part about this reality show is that your personal life stories will be integrated to the development of the entire series, if ever you qualify.", she added.
"I know some of you are nervous, so let me brief you. We only need to abide to three rules in this show."
DO THE WEEKLY TASKS.
NO PHYSICAL VIOLENCE.
NO DATING ALLOWED.
"Those are really simple rules for the prize of debuting as stars and one hundred million dollars.", she excitedly explained.
Some of them cheered and were extremely motivated to win and do their best while some had little or no reaction at all.
Marianne hushed them, "Now, calm down, newbies. Before we send you to your first task, I want to leave you all in this room so that you can get to know each other. Once I get back, the real challenge will come. Is that clear?"
They recited in chorus, "Yes, Lady Marianne."
A yellow-haired girl stood in front of the bunch, "Hello everyone! For starters, how about we introduce our self and a little about what we like to do?"
Some nodded in agreement.
"Yes. It's a good idea so that we can break the ice.", a really beautiful pink-haired snow white-skinned girl added.
The yellow haired girl rolled little papers with numbers 1-16 and let them pick one paper from the fishbowl. "Let's start with whoever got number 1."
When the teens opened their papers, the pink-haired girl got number 1.
She blushed slightly when she noticed everyone's eyes on her. She gulped before standing, "H-hello, everyone. I am Euphemia. I grew up in Britannia. My mother is a renowned government officer and my father is an aristocrat."
"You MUST be very rich!", a blue-haired guy shouted in amusement.
"Yes. But my dream is not to be a politician. I want to be someone who can touch the hearts of people that's why I joined this reality show. You can call me Euphy, for short."
"That was such a nice story, Euphy", yellow-haired girl commented.
Then, a black-haired guy raised his hand. "I got number two."
Everyone turned to the source of the low but captivating voice and gasped at his handsome features. His long jet-black hair and purple eyes. His tall stature and white skin. Everything about him is mesmerizing.
He slowly stood up to introduce himself. "I'm Lelouch, a Britannian. I was recommended by someone to join here. Nice to meet you all."
Lelouch plainly introduced himself but the girls' reaction, particulary an orange-haired girl, felt like he was a star who made friends with commoners.
While most of them were busy admiring Lelouch, a lime-haired woman raised her hand, "I'm number three. I'm C.C."
The recruits stared at each other.
"And then?", the yellow-haired awkwardly added.
"That's all."
"O-okay!", she agreed. "Since I'm number four, I'll introduce myself. I'm Milly Ashford. My father is a school head. Like most of us, I am a Britannian."
Introductions went on until all of the sixteen of them have been introduced. Aside from those mentioned, the other twelve were:
Suzaku- son of the Japanese prime minister and knows martial arts
Rivalz- a jolly commoner
Shirley- a cheerful daughter of an engineer and a housewife
Nina- a shy girl who loves Science
Gino- an extremely rich son of Britannian aristocrats
Kallen- a Britannian-Japanese half who loves sports and games
Nunnally- a cute brown-haired Britannian and younger compared to other recruits
Kaguya- another younger member who is bubbly and Suzaku's cousin
Anya- another young girl who is silent but likes taking pictures
Rolo- a shy boy who only spoke his name
Leila- a rich European daughter of the governor
Akito- an extremely silent guy
Amidst the getting-to-know each other a phase, Marianne came in to interrupt their chats and gave them identification cards.
"Your electronic card will show your current rank in this show with ONE being the highest and sixteen the lowest which is shown by the word LAST."
They placed their IDs around their necks and checked its back portion.
"As you can see, the word ZERO is written since you have not been ranked yet. However, as the game progresses, you will be ranked every week."
"What happens to those who rank first and last?", Suzaku asked.
Marianne smirked, "Well, the first in rank will be given one thousand dollars as a prize."
They cheered on the cash prize.
"But the last one will be eliminated every week."
Then, they fell silent.
Lelouch raised his hand.
"Yes? What is it?", Marianne asked him to stand up.
"Who gets to determine our rank?"
Marianne smirked again, "I like you recruits. You are curious. There will be three judges: ME (as a renowned actress), WEEKLY TASK HEAD, and YOUR CO-RECRUITS. You will be giving each recruit a corresponding rank from 1-16. Any rule violation will result to immediate elimination. Whoever gets the smallest accumulated points from the three judges becomes FIRST."
They nodded in agreement while processing the rules recently explained to them.
"Let's start your first weekly task. The task head is Clovis. I'll be leaving you but don't worry I'll be watching you from hidden cameras."
They gave Marianne a short hug before she left.
"What could be our first task?", Rivalz asked.
"I'm slightly nervous.", Shirley said while sighing.
Euphy patted Shirley's back, "Everything will be fine as long as we work together!"
Shirley smiled and hugged Eupy, "Yes!"
"Hmph. As if.", Akito butted in. "Is teamwork really the key? We are all competing enemies here."
"Akito-san, please avoid sparking disagreement among us.", Leila calmly said.
He gave her a boring look before walking away.
"What's with that guy?", Milly asked.
"He's not used to being with a group but he's really a nice person.", Leila explained to other recruits. "Just bear with him."
A few moments later, a fancy and dashing man entered and released a sleeping gas that made them all sleep.
When they woke up, they were already in an unfamiliar hall.
"I am Clovis, the task head. Nice to meet you all."
They greeted back to Clovis.
"Your first weekly task is simple. I do not want to put so much pressure on you. Using the costumes in this room, you need to portray a job you would likely want if ever you did not audition to be an actor.", he explained and turned on the lights to make the large wardrobe visible.
"Will any job do?", Suzaku asked.
Clovis hissed at this annoying question, "Isn't that obvious?"
Suzaku awkwardly laughed, "Oh, I'm sorry, sir."
"You have one week to choose a certain job before going to the studio for the pictorial. I will judge you based on your overall impact."
They nodded.
"You will be staying in two rooms at night: one for boys and girls. All of your time is yours but during the last day of this week, I do not want to be disappointed with your performance. Get it?"
"Yes, sir Clovis."
"If there are no more questions, I'll be going. Bye!", then he immediately left and rode his car.
The bunch went silent for full three minutes trying to process their weekly task.
"I don't really know how to apply makeup.", Nunnally stated while frowning.
"Me too. Plus, I don't even know why I'm here.", Rolo sighed.
Then, there was silence once again. They were not close yet and they were far from being close companions.
"GUYS!"
They all turned to face the sudden exclamation of Milly.
"Let's not be gloomy here, 'kay? We will work together to get through this task.", she explained.
"I agree!", Shirley raised her hand.
"Who's with us?"
At the start, no one wanted to join them but hands started to raise one by one until everyone agreed to give their full cooperation."
Milly finally smiled. "Let's plan about this at dinner."
