AN: Ah a new semester, new season ( its fall yay!) and season premieres! Sadly I still own all Csi shows and characters in my dreams, but one faithful day I will own them! Lol! Okay so this is a short song fic that came to me through one of my favorite Amerie songs. Look it up, the song is very touching and I'm a big fan of Amerie.
One night Catherine rolled over to find the love of her life lying beside her resting comfortably; she sighed as she thought about all the good times and the bad times. Through those times they stayed together. Her mind starts to wonder and dream as she closes her eyes and sighs again. Her lover pulls her close to him as his big arms wrap around her protecting her. She stares into his light green eyes, he smiles and she smiles back.
The next day she watched him as they both get ready for another day of solving life's mysteries and tragedies. They don't speak but their body language speaks for them, saying it all. As she sits in the labs break room. She admires him from afar she to herself, shutting out the world around her. Her mind blocks all the negatives, evil and cruelness. Her mind takes her to her fantasy she's always had, realizing in real life it came to pass.
As they get ready to settle down for the night. She silently thanks God for giving him to her. Out of all the men that came and went, he was the perfect one for her. No one else could do for her the things he did for her, he was only one for her. Warrick looks at Catherine and asks "What's up with you?" She answers, "Somebody up there must love me", he smiles and asks "Why?" She replies "Cause He gave me you." He takes her in his arms kissing her passionately, telling her he loves her and then takes her to bed.
