When she came to her senses,
Years had come and gone
Those that she loved…gone
Gone with the sands of time
No matter what others do or say
They will never come back
So she lives with the pain.
She wished she could have said goodbye
She wanted to hear his voice one more time
See him alive once more
But she knew she couldn't
Time had been harsh
Not only with him but also with her.
She held back her tears
In order to find another
But when she finally did
Her heart finally shattered.
So many years,
So many years had passed
All her sacrifices weren't enough
She couldn't save her daddy
She couldn't protect her sister
She was left all alone
Her childhood lost in time
A woman in a child's body.
