A Debt To be paid back Two
Colonel Jack Reynolds of the government company housing the gas from Vet Nam. He was getting together a small team to find out what exactly happen in Knoxville, Kentucky.
Sources coming back to him in his office in Candice, Idaho reported that A.D. Walter Skinner and agent Fox Mulder of the F.B.I. were responsible for the blowing up the private warehouse having to housed the gas stored.
There was a knock on his small office door. Two of his long time associates came in with his orders to start investigating the explosion.
"We know it was them Colonel. If something happens to them. The F.B.I. will be after those that tried to hurt them." Cesar Rollins in his fatigues says to his boss.
"All I want you to do with your partner is just scare them to let them know that we are on to them for what had happened in Knoxville, Kentucky."
"Yes sir." He walked out with his partner following behind him.
It's been a week now since Skinner and Fox Mulder have been back from Kentucky.
Director Kersh hasn't said a word to Skinner for having to leave his position. He knew better to say anything knowing full well the smoking man would have something to say about it.
The only thing he did was just sent him a memo for the X Files department to check into a Colonel Jack Reynolds trying to cause problems. Kersh had heard from a good source that he was going to pay back Skinner and Fox Mulder for the destruction of the warehouse in Kentucky.
He needed to make sure his agents including A.D. Skinner stay safe and sound. So Kersh without saying a word to anyone decided to send out his men to intervene the two men that was sent to scare Skinner and Mulder.
At Fox Mulder's house
A.D. Skinner had been invited for dinner for a rare evening together. Dana Scully was in the kitchen cooking up a storm for the two men. She knew that the both of them were talking about director Kersh.
Thinking about what he is trying to do just scares the hell out of her in the first place.
Sitting at the table. Skinner asked Mulder a question. "Do you really think he's going to get away with it killing those two government men sent to push us into a corner?"
"He has before Skinner. No doubt let him for a change with doing his job. We did ours last week with destroying the warehouse with the gas. Even though we know now there are other private companies throughout the U.S. and overseas has the toxic gas from long ago." Mulder says to Skinner taking a sip of his drink. Though he was still recovering from his injuries.
It was at this time that Dana Scully came out from the kitchen to let them know that dinner was ready. She had made an Italian style meal with fish and shrimp.
It was two days later Kersh men was able catch up with the two men that were supposed to scare Mulder and A.D. Skinner. There bodies were found by the Washington, D.C. police inside a burnt out SUV on the side of the main highway. No one knew what had caused the blaze of the vehicle.
However an autopsy would be made by the F.B.I.. Dr. Dana Scully was asked by Director Kersh to work on the two bodies out of the medical department.
She wasn't able to find anything at all with her report. As the case was closed for now until further notice...
