Sam was furious with a certain blonde archangel, as usual. Recently, the short little being had decided to admit having feelings for Sam. That was fine and all, but he never said it aloud. The Winchester was certain he would have gone out with him if he just asked. But of course that was beyond Gabriel. No, instead he had chosen to use his Trickster side to show affection.

It started with mildly irritating little gestures. Like when he snapped his fingers and 'Gabe's Human,' appeared on all of his shirts. Or when he started calling the tall man 'Samilicious,' to make him blush. Sam had rolled his eyes, made a witty retort, and walked away. Sam didn't know the archangel was too nervous and embarrassed to actually ask him out. Then, oh then, Gabe stepped up his game. Making everyone insane.

He had begun walking directly behind Sam wherever he went. When the Winchester sat down, Gabe sat behind him. Do you know what he would say when asked or was looked strangely about it? Gabriel would tell them that Sam's sweet ass was his and that he was on a mission to protect it with his life. Dean, despite his annoyance toward the angel, snorted and burst into laughter. Castiel had told him good luck, and meant it, being as oblivious as always. Strangers usually had a reaction similar to Dean's.

But embarrassing Sam wasn't the entire purpose of this activity; he just wanted everyone to back off. His hands were constantly hovering by and radiating a heat, which reminded Sam if he ever had the chance to forget. It turned out the tactics worked though, no one other than the archangel had flirted with him. In case someone might wonder, yes, Gabe did pinch him several times. Sam could never react quick enough to swing a punch at the nimble man. He had to convince himself it wasn't worth the fight.

After several weeks of torture, it had come across the exhausted moose's mind to experiment. What if he responded? Would this torment end?

Sam was walking into a bar after a successful hunt one night, Gabriel keeping intensely close as usual, when he abruptly stopped walking forward. The archangel bumped into him and let out a little grunt before returning to his previous position, hands close to ass. Sam took a deep breath. Well this was the end of ever being left alone then, wasn't it? Okay, well that was taken from him as soon as Gabriel decided that he liked him. At least he would enjoy not being alone ever again when he did this. It was time to act against the tyranny that was Gabriel.

Sam didn't dare look behind him and took a step back, so he was in Gabriel's palms. Gabe wouldn't move, he expected Sam to realize what he had done and jump away. So he waited, but nothing happened. For the first time in weeks, Gabe looked up into Sam's eyes.

"Oh hey, Samilicious, I appear to be holding your ass." He gave him a hesitant smirk.

"So it seems, Gabe Babe," Sam swore that he had never seen a happier face in his life.
