Freddie paced was pacing back and forth his room. He couldn't describe what had happened, or the immense joy it made him feel. He had just got off the phone with Sam. At first, he called her to ask about the homework assignment. But, somehow or another, the conversation turned to relationships. And for some reason or another, they each had admitted that they had a small crush on the other.

I hung up the phone tonight,
Something happened for the first time, deep inside.

After Sam had hung up, Freddie was sitting on his bed, just thinking. He had said that he had a small crush on Sam after she had set it to him, but in reality, it wasn't a small crush. He had thought that it was just a small crush, but then he realized that he was just in denial.

Freddie had tried to convince himself that he wasn't in love with Sam several times, but he was never able to get her out of his head.

At Sam's house…

Sam got off the phone with Freddie and immediately started screaming and jumping around. She was just TOO excited. Freddie Benson, the very person that she has had a HUGE crush on since Kindergarten, finally admitted that he had a small crush on her. Of course, she would never had thought that the crush would be that big until just recently. The two were at the mall just hanging out, and it was then, for the first time, that she really thought she might be in LOVE with him.

She took a moment to really think about the situation. Was she really in love with him? Would this just be another crush? Could it just be an infatuation? She really wasn't that sure.

No. She knew that there was nothing ordinary about this crush. She knew that this was something new. She had never felt anything like this before. And she knew that she would feel like this for a long time.
