My Feelings About You
I see you run to her,
my heart shatters to pieces.
The look on your face when she says your name, is heart breaking.
Her hands roam your body with a gentle loving care,
No matter how I try I can never be like her,
We're different, her and I, even if our souls are one,
but I know that she is for you, that the love you and her share, is real.
We will never have that, you and I for I am no longer the one you love.
You said it once, but it was just for an instant, then she called.
You sniffed the air and her scent reached your nose, and away you go.
Every time we have a moment that girl ruins it. You run to her like she is to disappear.
If she and I were to both be in danger, tell me who would you save?
I am guessing her. She is precious for you love her. She is one with your broken soul.
She tended to your heart, piecing it together one, by one.
I am alone now, now that she is with you, again.
How come even though we're alike, you chose her?
I see you bodies pressed together, you smiling as she kisses your neck.
I see the way y'all make love, and it pains me that you enjoy her.
She and I are one, by soul, yet not the same.
I see why you chose, despite her ways.
She loves you no doubt, no doubt.
Her lips press to yours as she lets out one final scream.
There it is the bundle of love you and her created.
That black eared, silver lining head, propped in your arms.
"She's beautiful..." you say, " just like you."
There are those words, 'beautiful just like you.' I winch as you say this to her.
Those words meant for me. Tell me why her?
I know I am different, I know I am not her, but wasn't I enough?
I see the child you know call 'Kameka' run and clasp to her leg.
She picks up the child and holds her close, repeating, 'I love you my baby.'
That could have been me, yet you chose her. I will not dwell on this for I understand.
She was the right choose. I can no longer argue. I understand you feelings.
Or do I? I ask myself why I am not your arms then one thing comes to mind.
I am dead. Yes dead, no longer of this world.
Inuaysha you chose her and I no longer have a reason to stay.
I hold the knife to my throat, then I drop it..
I should release the souls, yet my collectors allow me not.
I come to you and ask you to kill me, you say no.
I want peace I want to be rid of this world.
If I should die, I'd rather die by you, forever thing I've done.
I want you to have what she's wanted all along, my death, again.
Inuyasha I am begging you, please release me of my misery.
You raise your arm and bring it across my chest. I do not scream, I just say, 'Thank you."
I am now were I belong as you are were you should be.
She shed tears for me, even after what I done.
She smiled when you told her I said thank you.
She got on her knees and prayed, for me.
I am know happy you choose her. I have no regrets.
I want to say thank you again, but I can't.
I whisper in the wind, " May Kami bless you and your family." I see you heard.
You smile and bid me farewell. As does your wife.
You run to them, kissing her lips, hugging your baby, and rubbing her stomach.
She's pregnant again and you're happy.
After all these long dreaded years, I smile.
I smile for you and your family. I even manage a giggle, for you helped me.
I am on my way to hell now thinking of how happy, yes happy, I am that you're finally peaceful.
I smile one last time at you before disappearing in the pits of hell.
May I say one thing before my head disappears in the rubble,
" I love you and I hope you love that girl who tended to your broken heart."
My head goes down and I simply say, " Farewell Inuyasha."
