"Emma, I think it's time I teach you how to properly wield a sword" Charming said coming out of the ships cabins, a sword in each hand.

Emma groaned, "I don't need to. I have my gun and I killed a dragon, remember?" She took the sword from her father, a scowl on her face like that of a petulant child.

Hook snorted from behind her.

"Did I mention I bet him, too?" Emma pointed over her shoulder at Hook, who was now watching the pair with a bemused smile.

Hook laughed, "you are sorely mistaken, Swan."

Emma rolled her eyes. "Aha, tell that to the ground that you ended up unconscious on, buddy," she laughed.

Hook walked towards her, a small smile on his face. "Your majesty, do you mind?" Hook asked her father, his hand resting on the hilt of his own sword. "I think this calls for a rematch".

"You, be careful with my daughter, Hook!" Charming warned, stepping aside.

"I will, mate" Hook promised, withdrawing his sword.

Emma looked over to her father. Charming shrugged, "practice is practice".

Gritting her teeth, Emma withdrew her own sword and swung. With a clang, her sword clashed with Hook's. Within mere seconds, he had disarmed her. His sword inches away from her stomach. "Dead," he whispered.

"Again," Emma growled. Hook smiled and stepped back a few paces. Emma picked up her sword and came to stand in front of him.

"Ready, lass?" Hook asked. Emma nodded and swung again. Hook easily blocked her.

"Emma, you need to move faster. Don't wait for him to react " her father called. Emma nodded, and let her blade drop from Hooks. She tucked a stray string of blonde hair back behind her ear and then attacked again. She moved faster now, her attacks were still blocked but it was taking Hook longer to disarm her.

"Move, Emma!" Charming yelled as Emma swung to block one of Hooks jabs.

Emma stepped back, Hook followed. Swords ringing as they hit again and again. She quickly stepped to the side. Hook stumbled as his swing met no resistance.

"That's it, Em" Charming cheered, Emma shot him a quick grin and turned back to her opponent. Hook regained his footing and spun on the spot. Emma reacted just in time to block the attack. Hook grinned down at her, his blue eyes bright, "you are a fast learner, Swan. I'll make a pirate out of you yet."

Emma beamed back up at him, "we will see".
