Broken Heart Blues-Chapter 1
A kick in the stomach. A shock to the system. She knew she was really alone this time.
As the agony and pain of being alone was setting in, she put her head in her hands and started to sob until she felt that her heart was breaking.
This is where her life begins:
A child blessed with the love of her parents, Brini Saguaro was proficient in many of her studies. At the age of eight, she was the top of her Advanced Japanese class, and things were going so well for her. She gained many grades in Physics, and of course, her own ancient language.
But five years later, when she turned thirteen, she was to experience pain for the very first time. Her grandfather, who was the chief of their clan, suddenly fell very ill, and needless to say, did not recover.
From that time on, Brini became very aloof. The split of her parents due to her father having an affair with a courtesan, and subsequently being sent away, was just enough to push her into her own fantasy world, where everything protected her from rejection and destruction. She felt so strong on the inside, but on the outside, she was a quivering wreck.
She went from an angelic child to a mother's worst nightmare, constantly breaking the rules.
One day, they had a particularly horrific argument, in which Brini had been sent home for annoying a supply teacher. Brini chastised her mother for being unreasonable, and a vicious fight ensued. Brini's mother said,
''Right, that is it! I am sending you to a correction school!''
Brini's mother got a reaction she would normally expect from her daughter, especially at a time like this. Her daughter ran out of the door, and didn't come back…
What was to become of her… that was not known.
Until… Brini sat down at a deserted beach near her house, and put her head in her hands and thought…
… Why am I doing this to everyone? It really wasn't my fault that my father did what he did, but it seems to have changed my personality dramatically…
Many thoughts were swimming through Brini's head, and she didn't know how to take them, so instead of just thinking the rest through, and put her head in her hands.
Consequently, this feeling of solitude seemed to stir up a feeling of anguish, from all that had been done.
And she started to cry. Not ordinary tears, mind you, these were tears of a heartbroken girl.
This is the end of Chapter 1, more to come soon!
