The first few lyrics of the song gave him a nostalgic feeling. Without knowing anything, he ended up with tears in his eyes. It was painful to recall memories which should have been long lost. The dark silhouettes of people he doesn't know still haunted him to this day and the suffering he was made to endure became worse. Every night, a dream came to him while he was in a deep sleep. He saw himself collapsed onto that person's knees and crying genuine tears of regret. The black rings keeping him a prisoner disappearing into thin air and yet he somehow knew that person would remember what he did to us. It must be painful, so very painful. Unconsciously, he walked closer to that person until the distance between them was closed. His body felt light like he was fading away from the bottom to the top. Of course, he thought. There was a price to pay for seeking a wish such as this to come true.

The tender present moment keeps

and bad memories far away
the quiet night continues

Hugging him tightly, he whispered some words into that person's ear. Just then, he heard footsteps behind them as the others came to join in their reunion. She would have preferred a quiet send-off but this wasn't so bad either. Would things have been different if he did not meet that person? He shook his head. "No, I wouldn't have it any other way" he whispered only to himself. What he saw during the fight with that other person would remain forever his secret because it would burden or hurt the others definitely. He wasn't prepared for that.

Even the footprints
remaining at this place
begin to disappear and distort
like scars

He was scarred by that incident. Then, they offered to take him away to a safe sanctuary where everyone he cared for the most would be happy too. He took up their offer without knowing what it really means. Now, he couldn't do a thing but he felt that it was the right choice. Even if it means hurting others, even if it means hurting himself. That wish of his will come true. He had the power to make it happen and he had people who are willing to sacrifice whatever they had to ensure it runs smoothly.

Through the glass window

"I can't look at them anymore"

I shut it within the moment
Cast off the clinging feelings
And connect all thoughts together

More tears sprung up from his eyes. He must shut them out or he'll never have the strength to carry out his wish.
