Written for PayDay - Board One (In Play); Fanfiction Marathon Competiton/Challenge; and Pairing the Character - Drabble Competition.
Not entirely sure what's going on myself. But I only have two hundred words, so I thought I would let everyone come to their own conclusion.
"Take my hand," the nurse said to Rabastan with a smile on her face. Rabastan had always refused help from anyone, had always been determined to show that he could what he needed without any help. That he didn't need his brother or his father or his uncle to show him the way.
Rabastan took her hand.
She helped him up on shaky legs, her blonde hair a curtain between them. He could still see her though, and that was all that mattered.
Rabastan was no fool. Fleur Weasley was happy with her husband and her children, and there would be nothing happening between them.
As she sat him down on the bed, she managed to turn on the radio. A new Muggle song came on, something about a 'payphone', and she began humming along.
Rabastan knew she knew how he felt about her.
He was just glad she felt safe enough to never leave.
