Nigel is after the Blue Spix Macaws again, so Blu decides to take a vacation to New York. They were going to Central Park. "Alright kids. This is a nice vacation right?" Blu asked. "Yeah Dad." Carla said. "This is sweet!" Tiago yelled. Bia was reading her book. Then Jewel saw a bird. "Hang on. Who's that? Oh my god, that's Nigel!" Jewel yelled. "Oh boy. Just stay away from him and he won't attack." Blu said.
However, Jewel did not listen to Blu. Instead she flew over to Nigel and she started to attack him. "You annoying cockatoo! Leave my husband alone!" Jewel yelled. Then she broke Nigel's wing. Nigel fainted. Gabi, the frog, saw everything. She screamed. "Oh my god! Nigel! I should have called 9-1-1. Nigel, do you hear me?" Gabi asked. Nigel did not hear Gabi.
Then an ambulance came over. Rico, the penguin was driving. Blu was both confused and annoyed. Carla, Bia, and Tiago saw what happened. "Whoa." They said. "Wow Mom." Bia said. "You rock!" Tiago yelled. "Yeah!" Carla yelled. "Oh no. Now Jewel is sending a bad example to the kids and is a penguin driving an ambulance?" Blu asked.
Blu flew over to Rico. "Hello." Rico said. "Hi. I'm Blu." Blu said. "I'm Rico." Rico said. Blu was still confused. "You can drive an ambulance?" Blu asked. "Yep. I can drive pretty much everything." Rico said. Then there were three more penguins. "What's going on? I'm Kowalski." The tall penguin said. "I'm Private." The little penguin said. "And I'm Skipper." The flat head penguin said. "I'm Blu, these are my kids, Carla, Bia, and Tiago, and this is my wife Jewel." Blu said.
"Hello." Jewel said. "Oh Nigel!" Gabi yelled. Rico put Nigel in the ambulance and he drove away. "I love you Nigel!" Gabi yelled. Blu, Jewel, and the kids flew to their hotel. They went to their hotel room. Blu closed the door. "You had to attack Nigel." Blu said. "I only did it to defend you." Jewel said.
Blu sighed. "He wasn't doing anything!" Blu yelled. "Oh come on Blu. I know he's up to something!" Jewel yelled. "Mom, you rock!" Tiago yelled. "That was amazing." Bia said. "I love it." Carla said. "No. Kids, it's bad." Blu said. "Oh Blu." Jewel said. Blu was annoyed. "Jewel, this is not good." Blu said. "But the kids like it." Jewel said. Carla, Bia, and Tiago nodded. "You were like Wonder Woman!" Carla yelled.
"Kids! Oh man. Jewel, none of this would have happened if you didn't attack Nigel!" Blu yelled. Gabi hopped in. "What happened?" Gabi asked. Blu was about to speak, but Jewel interrupted. "I'll tell you. Gabi, I attacked Nigel." Jewel said. "Well now you're under arrest and you need to go to court." Gabi said and she walked away. Blu's cell phone rang. He picked it up. "Hello?" Blu said.
"I'll see your wife in court!" Nigel yelled and he hung up. Blu hung up and stared at Jewel. "We need to get a lawyer." Blu said.
In the Penguin HQ, Skipper was drinking his fish coffee, Rico was watching TV, Kowalski was writing something, and Private was getting the mail and he gave it to Kowalski. "Junk, junk, ooh more junk." Kowalski said. Then he saw a note and gasped. "There's going to be a court case and there has to be a judge. I can be the judge!" Kowalski yelled. Rico dropped the remote and Skipper spit his coffee out.
"What?" Skipper and Private asked. Rico laughed. "You're not a judge. Heck, you're not even a doctor. You're just trying to impress Doris." Rico said. Kowalski rolled his eyes. "I'm still doing it." Kowalski said and he wrote his name on the piece of paper.
It was the next day. Nigel was in a bird hospital. Gabi walked in. "Nigel? Nigel?" She asked. Then she saw Nigel. "Nigel!" Gabi yelled. Nigel opened his eyes. "Oh great. Gabi." Nigel said. "Are you alright Nige?" Gabi asked. Nigel sighed. "Yeah. I can't wait to see that pretty bird in court." Nigel said. "I know." Gabi said.
In the hotel, Blu and the kids were just waking up. Jewel took a morning flight. Blu's cell phone rang. He picked it up. "Blu here." He said. "Hello Blu. This is Skipper." Skipper said. "Oh hey Skipper." Blu said. "I've got news, my brother Kowalski will be the judge at Jewel's trial." Skipper said. "Thanks." Blu said. "You're welcome." Skipper said. "Will you be at the trial?" Blu asked. Skipper nodded. "Yes." He said. "Okay. I'll see you there." Blu said and he hung up.
Then Jewel walked in with a ring tailed lemur. The lemur was wearing reindeer antlers, he had a red clown nose on, and he was juggling six balls. Tiago, Bia, and Carla were laughing. "Hello. Can I help you?" Blu asked. "I will help you." The lemur said. "Excuse me?" Blu asked. "Blu, this lemur is going to be my lawyer." Jewel said. Blu looked at the lemur. "You're kidding." Blu said.
Jewel shook her head. Blu sighed. "Jewel, may I speak to you?" Blu asked. He took Jewel to the corner. "Are you crazy? He is not a lawyer." Blu said. "Look, I know that he looks weird with all his stuff, but I've got a feeling that he could be a real lawyer." Jewel said. "Alright." Blu said and he flew over to the lemur. "Okay lemur, you are hired." Blu said. "Yes!" The lemur yelled. "What is your name?" Blu asked. "My name is Julien." The lemur said. Tiago was still laughing. "Tiago, stop." Blu said. Tiago stopped laughing.
Kowalski left the Penguin HQ and he saw two little birds. He saw a red crested cardinal, and a canary. "Hello. I'm Kowalski." Kowalski said. "I'm Nico and this is my best friend, Pedro." The canary said. "Now I know we just met, but I need to tell you something. There is going a court case in a couple days. Do you want to be a witness?" Kowalski asked. Nico and Pedro were thinking. "Who's on trial?" Pedro asked. "A blue spix macaw named Jewel." Kowalski said.
Nico and Pedro gasped. They know Jewel. "Yes!" They yelled. "What happened?" Nico asked. "Jewel got physical and attacked someone." Kowalski said. "Who?" Pedro asked. "I'm not sure. Some cockatoo with a Shakespeare vest." Kowalski said. "Nigel." Nico and Pedro said. "Yep. We know him. What was he up to?" Nico asked. "You know him?" Kowalski asked. Nico and Pedro nodded.
"Yep. That bird is bad news." Pedro said. "He's our friend's arch enemy." Nico said. "Who's enemy?" Kowalski asked. "A blue macaw named Blu who happens to be Jewel's husband." Pedro said. "So Blu and Jewel are related. Oh yeah. Blu told me yesterday that they were." Kowalski said. "When is the trial?" Nico asked. "Next week in a courtroom that's close to the Central Park Zoo." Kowalski said. "Okay. We'll be there." Pedro said and he and Nico flew away. They were going to the hotel that Blu and his family were in.
In the hotel, Julien was entertaining the kids. "Um Julien, can you get the evidence together?" Blu asked. "Hold on Blu, I'm on a roll." Julien said. "You were juggling for two hours." Blu said. Then Blu looked at Jewel. "Are you sure he will help us? Because I think we need a new lawyer. He thinks he's in the circus." Blu said. "I know he's a party animal, but he will help us." Jewel said. "I hope when we're in the trial, he serious." Blu said. "He will. Trust me." Jewel said. "Alright." Blu said. "Well I'm going to fly around."
Blu flew away. Then he saw something that surprised him. He saw Nigel. "That's weird. I thought he was in the bird hospital and where is his bird cast? I thought he broke his wing." Blu said. Then he gasped. "Oh my god."
Nigel was walking around. Blu flew down to him. "Are you insane!? You tricked us! You were faking it!" Blu yelled. Nigel laughed. "That's right. I tricked you!" Nigel yelled. "Why!?" Blu asked. "Here's the plan, I knew you were going to Central Park, so I thought of an idea. I also knew that Jewel saw me and she attacked me. Then I faked an injury, and if there was a trial, she will be guilty and then she'll be in jail and she won't be able to save you or your little kids." Nigel said. "You're sick Nigel and you're an idiot!" Blu yelled and he flew to the Central Park Zoo.
Kowalski took out a gavel and he banged it on the table. "Order in the court!" He yelled. Then Blu flew in. "Kowalski! There's no trial." Blu said. "What?" Kowalski asked. "It was Nigel. He was being a jerk. He lied." Blu said. Skipper spit out his coffee. "Are you serious?" Kowalski asked. Blu nodded. "I just talked to him." Blu said. Kowalski sighed. "Well there goes the trial." Kowalski said. Blu flew back to the hotel.
Julien was still juggling. Blu flew in. "Julien, stop and get out." Blu said. "But Blu, I need him for my trial." Jewel said. "There is no trial." Blu said. Jewel laughed. She thought that Blu was joking. "I'm sorry what?" Jewel asked. "It was Nigel all along." Blu said. "That rotten, crazy, physco, sick, cockatoo!" Jewel yelled. "I know!" Blu yelled. "Jewel, you are off the hook."
Jewel sighed. "Thank goodness." Jewel said. "So what do I do?" Julien asked. "You can leave." Blu said. "Dad, I still wanted to see him juggle." Tiago said. Blu sighed. "Fine. He can juggle for five more minutes." Blu said. Jewel looked at Blu. "I'm glad that I'm not on trial." Jewel said. "Me too." Blu said and Jewel kissed him.
