Author's note: Hi! So has anyone else felt that Mikey would definitely have nightmares, really bad nightmares after the whole "Mega Shredder" incident? Anyway I don't own T.M.N.T. or the characters.

In Mikey's room:

Mikey was sleeping on his bed. He wasn't really having a real good sleep though, because of the battle they had today. He was having a nightmare that involved him being in the belly of the Mega Shredder.

That was super scary for Mikey so it's no surprise that he would be having a nightmare.

Mikey was tossing and turning on his bed, crying a little in his sleep, until he woke up with a scream.\

"No!"

Mikey put a hand over his mouth hoping no one had heard his shout. When he was sure nobody heard him, he laid his body back down on his bed.

He tried to go back to sleep so he decided to get up and go to Leo, since he was almost eaten too. He quietly left his room and headed towards Leo's room. He looked inside and saw that Leo wasn't there.

He knew that Leo could either be in the Do-Jo, the Lab or checking on Raph. He decided to see if he was in the Lab. Mikey looked in the Lab and saw that Donnie was in there asleep at his desk, and Raph was asleep on the cot in there because of his ankle.

So that ruled out Leo being in the Lab or with Raph. He went to the Do-Jo and sure enough there was Leo training.

"Um Leo?"

"What is it Mikey? I'm trying to train since Master Splinter grounded the two of us from leaving the Lair because we left earlier without anybody knowing."

"I….I had a n-nightmare…."

Leo stopped what he was doing when he heard how fragile Mikey sounded. He looked over at his little brother and saw a sad sight.

Mikey was really pale, shaking a little and his lip was trembling with tears in his eyes. Leo sighed, went over to Mikey wrapping his arms around him and asked…

"You want to sleep in my room tonight buddy?"

Mikey buried his face into Leo's shoulder and nodded his head yes. Leo then walked himself and Mikey to his room trying to console Mikey who was crying still.

They got into Leo's room and Leo lays himself and his little brother on his bed. Mikey was beginning to calm down now that he was just hiccupping . Leo then asks Mikey…

"Do you want to talk about it? Talking about your nightmare would make you feel better."

"Okay…..It's just me being in the Mega Shredder's belly again…..I'm trying to get out and not get burned by the stomach acid like earlier….but instead of escaping like I did earlier, I fall into it and all I feel is burning. (Sobs) It just keeps repeating and all I keep feeling is that horrible burning…..I know that it didn't actually happen…but my dream makes it feel so real. I just feel really scared, Leo, that it's going to happen again and there's nothing I can do about it."

"Listen to me right now Mikey (Mikey looks at big brother with tears in his baby blues) that isn't going to happen….you know why? It isn't going to happen as long as Donnie, Raph and I are around you'll be safe and sound."

"You're right, thanks Leo."

Mikey smiles at his older brother happily. He yawns and then falls asleep in Leo's protective arms. Leo looks down at his little brother's smiling face and silently promises to him that (No matter what happens all always protect you baby bro).
