Annabeth POV
Annabeth could have never felt safer which she found ironic considering the fact that they were headed to Tartarus, one of the most dangerous places ever. She knew that Percy and her were in great danger but none of that mattered to her. Percy and her were together and that made her forget about all the horrible things. Percy wrapped his arms around Annabeth as she put her head on his chest. She never wanted this moment to end because she realized that no matter how bad the situation was they always had each other. She knew that together they could get through whatever challenges they had ahead of them. She raised her head and looked into Percy's sea green eyes. They both smiled as they looked at each other and then they leaned in and kissed.
