Shirosuki Aiko is 15 year old this year and has always dreams about playing in an orchestra. If she is lucky, she even wanted to be a conductor too. Her father, Shirosuki Shinjou, is a famous musician who performs around the world and her mother, Akijou Sakura is a very popular singer around the world too, they are the most admiring couple at that time. Everyone just can't get enough of them but right after Aiko turns 4 years old, her parents filed for divorce because they see each other as a competitor more than lovers. Aiko has a rough childhood. Both of her parents try to convince her to stay with them but she decline. Aiko move out from their house and went to live with her grandfather's villa with her grandparents in Tokyo. Since that day her parents filed for divorce, Aiko has never attended school. She locked herself in a room and only plays her instruments from day to-night. She only comes out to eat her meals and goes back to her room and continues her practice. It has become her routine for 11 years. For 11 years she did not see her father or mother. Not even a word to them.

One day after that atrocious 11 years, Shirosuki Aiko finally snaps out of her own world and she is ready to face her parents. She wants her parents to want her back. She wants to feel being loved and more importantly, she too wants to experience a life of a high school girl falling in love and all. So, on that day itself, she calls her only friend, and asks him for help. Her friend helps her to apply for a school. That school is a music school and it is the most well-known around Japan.

The students' requirement to enter this music school is very simple, they just need to know how to play musical instruments but then, and it needed a certain level to get in to this school. The students need to know how to play more than one instrument and needed to be grade 7 and above. For Aiko, she has passed the requirement but there is only one thing that is worrying her, it is almost September and to have a student enrolling into the school in this time of the year has hardly happen. She is afraid that she will not be accepted and will be ask to wait till the next admission. She cannot let that happen because she predicted that most likely she will change her mind and will not have the courage to come out again.

Since this is her first time enrolling in to a school, she does not have the confidence on whether she will be accepted or not. Everything will be decided on tomorrow's letter from the school.
