A LotR poem that can be sung to the tune of My Favorite Things, just because.

Hello! This is a simple Lord of the Rings song/poem!

If you want to sing it, it goes to tune "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music.

If you have never heard of The Sound of Music or just plain hate it, read it as a poem.

Four hobbits, an elf, a dwarf, and two men

All went down to Amon Hen

There was this dude Lurtz and all of his thugs

They all looked like they were on drugs

There was a big fight; Uruk-hai were a-plenty

They kidnapped two hobbits: Pippin and Merry

Frodo and Sam ran away arm in arm

Boromir was killed off despite all his charm

The elf, man, and dwarf went to looked for the hobbits

While Frodo and Sam met the odd creature Gollum

The Nazgul now ride on creatures with wings

This is some stuff from The Lord of the Rings

When the warg bites

When the orc hacks

Away at my head

I simply remember The Lord of the Rings

And then I don't feel

So bad!

I'm aware of the fact that some stuff is inaccurate.

Like, if and orc was hacking away at my head, I wouldn't be alive

And Frodo and Sam didn't run away arm in arm

And Faramir is cuter than Boromir... much cuter...
